Overview

In AION 2 dungeons the Cleric is a healer that has to deal damage: rewards depend on your contribution, and a Cleric who only heals can walk out with nothing. Your party has plenty of dodges and invulnerabilities of its own — top people up after hits, and put everything else into damage.

The build in one sentence

Earth Punishment makes Condemnation always crit, and a crit resets Condemnation — so it fires with no cooldown, while Divine Aura, Bolt and Noble Aura add damage on top.

This mode follows Kaeria's Cleric PvE video guide (Russian, recorded on the Taiwan client on September 28; she says it applies to global too), checked against the video frames on September 30, and against Lucia's guide (English, global, October 5 — a World's First Rank 1 Cleric at 2,160 item level). Skill picks are reversible for free — only arcana cost resources.

Patch Season 1. The build is checked against guides from the global servers: 4 stigmas, cap 20.

Overview

In PvP the Cleric keeps the PvE core — Condemnation reset by crits, Judgment Thunder, the heals — and changes what the stigmas and a few picks are for: crowd control, cutting the enemy's healing, and keeping the party alive through a burst.

The build in one sentence

Buff with Prayer of Amplification and Light of Protection, put Voice of Doom on the healer or the tank you are killing, and save Yustiel's Power for the moment the enemy bursts.

This mode follows the PvP part of Lucia's Cleric guide (English, global, October 5 — a World's First Rank 1 Cleric): stigmas for duels and group fights and the picks she changes for PvP. She promised a separate video on PvP combos; until then the rotation is the PvE one.

Patch Season 1. The build is checked against guides from the global servers: 4 stigmas, cap 20.

Global Season 1: what changes

Global servers open on October 5, 2026 (Founder's early access from September 30). What that means for the Cleric:

  • 4 stigma slots, capped at 20. Kaeria's Taiwan bar has more; the four in this guide are her picks for global. The level-25 tiers (such as Double Chance on Light of Protection) don't exist here.
  • You are paid for damage. Dungeon rewards depend on your contribution, so a Cleric who only heals can leave with nothing — this whole build is about dealing damage while healing on the side.
  • Bigger groups (5-player expeditions, 10-player sanctuaries): with a Chanter in the party your mantra doesn't stack with theirs — swap Light of Protection out.
  • Lower ping than on Taiwan: animations cancel better, so the macro can weave more basic attacks.

Active skills and passives are identical in the global and KR/TW data; stigmas lose their level-25 tier. The source video was recorded on the Taiwan client with English skill names.

Skills

Almost everything goes into damage. The heals that matter need 16: Healing Light and Radiant Recovery.

Leveling order (Lucia): first the two skills you weave — Earth's Retribution and Judgment Thunder — then Condemnation, then the heals. After the regional quests at 45 every skill should be 12 or higher; from there take the specializations and push the heals.

  • Condemnation Core
    16 20
The most important skill on your bar: +12% on a single target and a cooldown reset on crit. At 20 add MP if mana is short, Multi-Hit if not.
    • 8Up to +12% damage when less targets hit
    • 12Resets cooldown on landing a Critical Hit with [Condemnation]
    • 20Multi-Hit on hit
    All specializations
    • 8Restores 100 MP on hit
    • 8Up to +12% damage when less targets hit
    • 820% chance to inflict Root for 3s
    • 12Resets cooldown on landing a Critical Hit with [Condemnation]
  • Divine Aura Core
    16 20
Underrated: it deals damage in parallel with you, so the longer it stays up the better. At 16 take the aura's attack speed and −10s cooldown, at 20 add +3s (Lucia). Option: Kaeria takes +3s instead of the attack speed at 16; for farming aLuckyRO takes the AoE pick (up to four mobs).
    • 8+50% [Divine Aura] attacking speed
    • 16-10s cooldown
    • 20+3s [Divine Aura] duration
    All specializations
    • 8-40% Move Speed for 3s to up to 4 enemies within 4m of the Aura
    • 8Changes to AoE Skill
    • 8+50% [Divine Aura] attacking speed
    • 16-10s cooldown
  • Bolt Core
    16 20
Your strongest hit. Charge it fully. +300 Skill Accuracy, so it almost always lands, and +30% skill speed; at 20 add the guaranteed crit (Lucia). Option: once your accuracy is high, Kaeria's +20% single-target pick does more than the accuracy.
    • 8+300 Skill Accuracy
    • 8+30% Skill Speed
    • 20Critical Hit on hit
    All specializations
    • 830% chance to inflict Stun for 3s when fully charged
    • 8+300 Skill Accuracy
    • 8+30% Skill Speed
    • 12Up to +20% damage when less targets hit
  • Judgment Thunder Core
    16
Constant damage and animation cancel; the Divine Punishment pick roughly doubles it. At 20 add −20% MP.
    • 8Deals up to 12% more damage when less targets are hit
    • 16Activates [Divine Punishment] 1 extra time
    All specializations
    • 8-20% MP consumed
    • 8Deals up to 12% more damage when less targets are hit
    • 8-10% enemy Combat Speed for 5s on landing [Divine Punishment]
    • 1210% chance to inflict Root for 2s on landing [Divine Punishment]
    • 16Activates [Divine Punishment] 1 extra time
  • Lightning Strike Scattershot Core
    16
Only during Stagger, but every hit cuts all your cooldowns by 1s.

    • 16-1s all skill cooldowns on hit
    All specializations
    • 8Absorbs 5% HP

    • 8Changes to mobile skill
    • 12Multi-Hit on hit
    • 16-1s all skill cooldowns on hit
  • Healing Light Core
    16
Near-cooldownless quick heal: +2 uses and +2% HP (scales with heal boost). At 20 add −2s.
    • 8+2 consecutive uses
    • 12+2% HP restored
    All specializations
    • 8+2 consecutive uses
    • 8+20% amount healed when HP is 50% or less
    • 850% chance to remove 1 debuff
    • 12+2% HP restored
    • 16-2s cooldown
  • Radiant Recovery Core
    16 20
Your strongest heal outside stigmas; removes a debuff. Lucia: −3s cooldown and +10% Incoming Heal up to 16, then −3s and +5% HP — take it to 20 early. Option: +1 consecutive use instead of −3s, for two big heals in a row.
    • 8-3s cooldown
    • 16+5% HP restored
    All specializations
    • 8Removes up to 2 debuffs

    • 16+5% HP restored
  • Earth's Retribution Optional
    12 16
Basic attack used to cancel animations: Discharge chance and −7s Bolt cooldown on Discharge — the more Discharge procs, the sooner Bolt is back. At 20 add Multi-Hit.
    • 8+20% [Discharge] Chain Skill trigger chance
    • 12-7s [Bolt] cooldown on landing [Discharge]
    • 20+50% Multi-Hit on hit

  • Debilitating Mark Optional
    12
−15% Defense on the boss while the damage over time lasts; Lucia adds the 20% stun for crowd control in Transcendence. Option: the pick that lowers the boss's damage instead of the stun — Lucia isn't sure it works as described.
    • 8-15% target Defense for duration of Damage over Time
    • 8Has a 20% chance to inflict Stun on the target for 3s
    All specializations
    • 8Removes MP Consumed and restores 150 MP

    • 8Has a 20% chance to inflict Knockdown on the target for 3s

Skills

Skill levels and most picks are the same as in PvE. What changes for PvP:

  • Earth's Retribution Optional
    16 20
The same Discharge and −7s Bolt picks; at 20 take Ignores Block and Evasion — in PvP your basic attack must land.
    • 8+20% [Discharge] Chain Skill trigger chance
    • 12-7s [Bolt] cooldown on landing [Discharge]
    • 20Ignores Block and Evasion

    • 12-7s [Bolt] cooldown on landing [Discharge]

Passives

  • Empyrean Lord's Grace — the most important one: Critical Damage, Double Chance and extra damage on every hit. As high as you can.
  • Earth's Grace — used to buff the party, now only you; still worth leveling.
  • Healing Enhancement — heal boost as a share of your Attack, so a Cleric builds Attack rather than Defense.
  • Radiant Benediction — heals nearby allies on attacks; take it if you go all-in on damage.
  • Warm Benediction and Immortal Veil are fine to have; Empyrean Lords' Benediction is for PvP.

Lucia levels these three first, before any other passive: Empyrean Lord's Grace, Healing Enhancement and Earth's Grace. Immortal Veil helps early and falls off once your armor scales.

First days (aLuckyRO): level Radiant Benediction — it heals the whole party every few seconds while they hit — and Healing Enhancement first. The crit passives pay off only once your gear gives Critical Hit; until then you barely crit.

Gear & stats

  • Gear lines: Might (attack and heal), Combat Speed, Damage Boost; Weapon Damage Boost and Precision are strong too. Skip status resists, evasion and defensive lines in PvE.
  • Weapon and guard (Lucia): Weapon Damage Boost, Might, Combat Speed, Precision. Gloves: Combat Speed; boots: Movement Speed. Accessories: Combat Speed, Might and Precision, plus one line for Earth's Grace or Empyrean Lord's Grace.
  • Rings: craft them as soon as you can — crafted rings have one more line for active skills. Fill every line with active skills: Condemnation, Radiant Recovery, Judgment Thunder, and Healing Light or Divine Aura.
  • Stats: Destruction, Wisdom (Double Chance), Illusion (cooldowns), Time (Combat Speed), Freedom (accuracy), plus Death (Critical Hit) — Kaeria's own pick, a Cleric is always short on crit; Might, Precision, Constitution. Lucia's four: Time, Illusion, Space, Destruction.
  • For the Ludra raid: at least 1,000 Accuracy and 1,000 Critical Hit.
  • Wings: Talisra Wings (Attack 60, Defense 400, Accuracy 35, −4% cooldowns) from the season shop for about 250,000 season points — save the points for them.

Genus Insight

Get every pet to level 3 early: killing pets you have leveled gives the crystals for these lines. Lucia's picks for each wheel:

SlotTake
1, 5Attack Bonus (5: or Max Attack)
2, 8HP
3, 6, 9Accuracy, or Block if your accuracy is already high
4The damage line of that wheel: Damage Boost, Perfect Chance, Back Attack Damage
7Regeneration or Endurance
SpecialDouble Chance

Roll for the highest value and lock a line only when it is close to the maximum — and never before the wheel is level 9–10.

Gear & stats

  • Gear lines as in PvE — Weapon Damage Boost, Might, Combat Speed, Precision on the weapon and guard; accessories Combat Speed, Might, Precision.
  • Genus Insight: Critical Hit Resist instead of HP on slot 2, and Front Attack Damage Boost on the damage slot of that wheel — in PvP you face the target.
  • Azphel, the level-45 Daevanion board, is all PvP Damage Boost and Tolerance — fill it for PvP.

Daevanion boards

Daevanion takes your skills from 10 to 14 and adds stats. Each blue node gives +1 level to its skill.

  • Priority: orange Cooldown and Combat Speed nodes first, then Attack and Critical, then the blue skill nodes, then the defensive orange nodes, passives last.
  • Critical Damage Tolerance and Multi-Hit Resist do nothing in PvE — bosses don't crit or multi-hit.
  • Resetting a board is cheap, and you will rebuild it many times.
  • Lucia's order: on Nezekan and Zikel take all four corners and your skills; on Vaizel and Triniel skip the corners and go straight for the active skills you use.
  • Azphel (level 45) is all PvP Damage Boost and Tolerance — take it for PvP.
  • No Ariel on global: there are five boards, and the level-45 one, Azphel, gives only PvP Damage Boost and Tolerance — in PvE finish the first four.

Voice of Doom (−200 Critical Hit Resist on the boss at 15) is an option in sanctuaries with a second healer, mostly early while everyone is short on crit; Power Burst only where the stagger bar has to be broken and nobody else can do it (Nightmare). Root and Assault Mark have no use in PvE.

Macro

Lucia's global setup: only the in-game macro, two steps, and two hotbar lines read from her hotbar (frame 13:10). In AION 2 the bottom slot of a line has the highest priority; the cards show each line top to bottom as in the game.

1. Hotbar lines

QPrayer line
  1. 4 Condemnation
  2. 3 Chain of Torment
  3. 2 Earth Punishment
  4. 1 Prayer of Amplification

In-game order, top to bottom. 1 = highest priority — the bottom slot.

Prayer whenever it is ready, then Earth Punishment and Chain of Torment, so every Condemnation crits and resets. Keep Light of Protection out of the line: it is a toggle, and every second press would switch it off.

TDivine Aura line
  1. 2 Judgment Thunder
  2. 1 Divine Aura

In-game order, top to bottom. 1 = highest priority — the bottom slot.

The aura when it is ready, Judgment Thunder in between — after each Judgment Thunder Condemnation can crit and reset again.

Outside the macro — the rest of her bar:

1Debuff line
  1. 2 Debilitating Mark
  2. 1 Lightning Strike Scattershot

In-game order, top to bottom. 1 = highest priority — the bottom slot.

Lightning Strike Scattershot on a staggered boss, otherwise Debilitating Mark — press it on cooldown.

EHeal line
  1. 2 Healing Light
  2. 1 Light of Regeneration

In-game order, top to bottom. 1 = highest priority — the bottom slot.

Light of Regeneration whenever it is ready, Healing Light (three charges) for the rest.

  • Own keysLMB Earth's Retribution, 3 Radiant Recovery, 4 Bolt, 5 Light of Protection (a toggle — switch it on once), 8 Noble Aura.

2. In-game macro

On RMB, every step with a 10 ms delay:

  1. 1Prayer linePrayer of Amplification
  2. 2Divine Aura lineDivine Aura

3. Keys

  • HoldThe macro on RMB together with Earth's Retribution on LMB — the basic attack, Judgment Thunder and Condemnation weave until the sequence starts again.
  • By handThe Debuff line on cooldown; the Heal line and Radiant Recovery when someone just took a hit; fully charged Bolt; Noble Aura on cooldown.

Lucia notes that a third-party macro does more, but she sticks to the in-game one.

Another option: Kaeria's macro (Taiwan client)

Seven steps and three lines, made for a high ping; the stagger skill is in the macro.

3Condemnation line
  1. 3 Chain of Torment
  2. 2 Condemnation
  3. 1 Earth Punishment

In-game order, top to bottom. 1 = highest priority — the bottom slot.

Earth Punishment goes first so that Condemnation always crits and resets; Chain of Torment keeps the mark that Condemnation needs.

2Divine Aura line
  1. 4 Judgment Thunder
  2. 3 Light of Regeneration
  3. 2 Debilitating Mark
  4. 1 Divine Aura

In-game order, top to bottom. 1 = highest priority — the bottom slot.

The aura and the debuff whenever they are ready; Judgment Thunder fills the rest.

1Stagger
  1. 1 Lightning Strike Scattershot

In-game order, top to bottom. 1 = highest priority — the bottom slot.

Works only on a staggered boss, so most of the time this step is skipped.

  1. 1Earth's Retributionbasic attack
  2. 2Line 2Divine Aura
  3. 3Line 3Condemnation
  4. 4Line 1stagger
  5. 5Line 3
  6. 6Line 1
  7. 7Line 1
  • HoldThe macro on RMB together with 3 (the Condemnation line); on a staggered boss release 3 so Lightning Strike Scattershot gets through.
  • By handHealing Light (4), Radiant Recovery (Q), charged Bolt (E), Prayer of Amplification on cooldown.

On global, with lower ping than on Taiwan, animations cancel better and you can weave a bit more Earth's Retribution.

Recap

  • Skills: Condemnation, Radiant Recovery, Divine Aura, Bolt 16 → 20; Judgment Thunder, Lightning Strike Scattershot, Healing Light 16; the rest 12–14.
  • Stigmas: Earth Punishment, Light of Protection, Prayer of Amplification (all three to 20), Noble Aura; with a Chanter swap Light of Protection for Absolution.
  • Play: deal damage for contribution; heal only the people who just got hit.

Recap

  • Skills: as in PvE; Chain of Torment and Debilitating Mark take their crowd-control picks, Earth's Retribution ignores Block and Evasion at 20.
  • Stigmas: Prayer of Amplification, Light of Protection, Yustiel's Power, Voice of Doom; in group PvP Absolution instead of Voice of Doom.
  • Gear: PvE lines; Critical Hit Resist and Front Attack Damage on Genus Insight, the Azphel board.

Overview

The Cleric is the healer, but while leveling it plays as a ranged damage dealer: Chain of Torment marks the target, Condemnation punishes it, and the passive Radiant Benediction heals you and the party on every hit. Heal only when you need to.

Leveling in one sentence

Hold Earth's Retribution for mana, spam the Chain line with the in-game macro, and put your skill points into attacks rather than heals.

Patch Season 1. The build is checked against guides from the global servers: 4 stigmas, cap 20.

How to fight while leveling

  • Packs: Chain of Torment (hits up to 4) → Condemnation → Divine Aura with the AoE pick → Judgment Thunder.
  • Elites: Debilitating Mark (lower Defense) → Chain of Torment → Bolt charged → Condemnation.
  • Mana: target mode, and weave Earth's Retribution — it restores MP on every cast.
  • Low HP: Healing Light, and Radiant Benediction keeps ticking as long as you hit.
  • Staggered bosses: Lightning Strike Scattershot only works while the target is staggered.

Leveling macro

Grobs' early-game setup: one hotbar line and a one-slot in-game macro. In AION 2 the bottom slot of a line has the highest priority — the card shows the line top to bottom as in the game.

RMBChain line
  1. 4 Judgment Thunder
  2. 3 Condemnation
  3. 2 Debilitating Mark
  4. 1 Chain of Torment

In-game order, top to bottom. 1 = highest priority — the bottom slot.

Chain of Torment goes first so Condemnation can hit; Judgment Thunder has no cooldown and fills the gaps.

In-game macro (Skill window → Macro), delay 10 ms:

  1. 1Chain line10 ms
  • HoldEarth's Retribution on LMB and the macro key together.
  • By handBolt (charged skill — keep it out of the macro), heals, stigmas.
