Which meter should I choose?

Start with A2Tools for general use; choose the others for the workflows below. GitHub stars indicate public interest, not active users or accuracy. Counts are a dated snapshot, not a market-share ranking.

A2Tools
GitHub ★ 55
v2.0.62 · 2026-10-12

General use · Windows / Linux

Free and open source, with Chinese UI, skill breakdowns, boss history and shareable logs. The repository states support for all regions. Windows needs Npcap; Linux has a separate setup guide.

Abyss Logs

Team review · web reports

Abyss Logs is useful when your group wants a link to the same fight, skill/buff timelines and regional leaderboards. Its site lists TW, KR, NA, SA, EU and Asia. Check report visibility before uploading. Windows 64-bit and Npcap required.

RATmeter
GitHub ★ 21
v1.11.3.320 · 2026-10-01

Global servers · detailed local review

RATmeter combines per-skill analysis, buff/cooldown overlays and a stat-efficiency calculator. Windows with Npcap. Its documentation targets Global; verify your region before installing. Treat simulated stat gains as estimates dependent on your inputs.

Aletheia
GitHub ★ 37
v9.4.1 · 2026-07-30

Taiwan server · Chinese interface

Aletheia offers EN, Traditional and Simplified Chinese; Windows, Npcap and Discord login required. Free: basic overlay and last 20 fights. SkillMAP and Analyzer require Sponsor. After consent, free-tier reports upload automatically. The README targets Taiwan; Global compatibility is unconfirmed.

Shugo.GG App

All-in-one companion · try separately

Shugo.GG App combines DPS reports with replays and daily checklists. Requires Windows 10/11, Npcap and a Shugo account via Discord. It is a newer open-beta option; no comparable public usage count was verified.

Quick start: A2Tools on Windows

  • Install Npcap from its official site and enable “WinPcap API-compatible Mode”. Download A2Tools through the developer’s site or Releases, then install and launch as administrator as documented.
  • Start the game and check that capture is connected. Use Boss mode for a boss or Train for a dummy. Clear old data before each attempt and keep target selection and fight duration consistent.
  • After the fight, open the player details and Battle History. Begin with local reports; if you enable uploads, review automatic-upload and sharing settings. Linux users should follow the separate Linux guide, not these Windows steps.

How to read the numbers

Compare the same boss, difficulty, party buffs and time window. Total damage divided by the selected duration gives average DPS; active-time and whole-fight meters can disagree. A short burst record is not sustained DPS.

Check casts, skill damage share, crit/back-attack rates and gaps in the timeline. Change one build choice at a time and repeat several runs. Also inspect deaths and mechanics; healing and support value are not captured by a damage ranking.

No data, missing names or inconsistent totals?

For A2Tools, check Npcap compatibility mode, administrator privileges and the detected connection; VPNs can change the capture interface. In RATmeter, a zone transition can supply missing names. Missing summon events, different target filters and reset times can change totals. After a game patch, check the meter’s release notes first.

Third-party tools and sharing

These are community tools, not NCSOFT-approved features. Passive packet capture does not establish permission or guarantee account safety; do not rely on an author’s “no ban” claim. Review your region’s current game policy and what a tool uploads before use. Use reports for improvement, not harassment.
